    Alexander Matthies is a board member of GET AHEAD AG and has been instrumental in building the firm’s market-leading presence in renewable energies since 2004 as well as continuously growing the business in the production and technology practice. With more than a decade’s worth of experience in executive search, Alexander has successfully closed dozens of search mandates at the middle and upper management level almost exclusively through direct search. Alexander’s industry focus is on renewable energies (solar, wind, heat exchangers and power converters) as well as traditional mechanical engineering. A partner in the business since 2006, Alexander is responsible for the firm’s continued expansion and ongoing commercial success.

    Before joining GET AHEAD AG, Alexander spent 6 years working for an executive search firm specializing in direct search with a focus on sales and marketing. Alexander successfully completed a technical apprenticeship with a major international aerospace company before obtaining his degree in business administration and sales.

    A father of two, Alexander has a keen interest in vintage cars and enjoys traveling internationally as well as participating in automobile rallies for charity.

    Maurice Werntges is a consultant specialized in the fields of production and technology with GET AHEAD AG. Maurice successfully places specialists as well as candidates for middle and upper management positions in all industries by utilizing direct search, ad-based recruitment and sourcing within his extensive network.

    During his studies in International Business & Management in Iserlohn (Germany) and London with a specialization in Corporate Management and HR, Maurice gained valuable experiences at two Top-10 consultancies.

    After his graduation, Maurice started his career in an international recruitment agency. He played a significant role in the development and expansion of the Düsseldorf branch’s engineering department. Before he joined GET AHEAD AG, Maurice led a team in the sectors of plant construction, energy/ renewable energies and medical devices.

    In his spare time Maurice enjoys sports and culinary delights with his life partner. Furthermore, he is interested in political and economics topics.
